Tonya Pearce, CPA, CA, LPA

Tonya is the Managing Partner of Powell Jones LLP in Barrie and has been with the firm since 2003. She provides leadership to the firm while maintaining an active practice serving a diverse range of clients, including professionals, manufacturers, automotive retailers, not-for-profit organizations, and a variety of other owner-managed businesses.

She brings extensive experience in financial reporting, and assurance, with particular expertise in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations, and Canadian Auditing Standards. Tonya is known for her practical approach, strong technical knowledge, and commitment to helping clients navigate complex financial and business matters. She in addition to her mix of audit, review and compilation engagements her practice includes extensive tax compliance, planning and business advisory services.

In addition to her professional leadership, Tonya is actively involved in her community and has contributed to a number of volunteer and fundraising initiatives. Her community service has included serving as President of the Rotary Club of Barrie-Kempenfelt along with numerous treasurer positions throughout her career.
