Chad Davis, CPA, CMA
Chad is the co-founder of LiveCA, Canada's largest CPA firm without a physical office. With over 60 full time CPA's, bookkeepers and technologists, LiveCA is leading the way in which firms approach technology, education and virtual service delivery. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, he lives with his wife and two children in their RV travelling across North America chasing 20 degree weather. Erin is President and CEO of Advanced Symbolics Inc. (ASI), a company that uses Artificial Intelligence to improve the accuracy of human behaviour research studies, particularly as it relates to market research. Erin is featured regularly in national and international media for the work her company is doing to advance research into human behaviour. Lance is Senior Investment Director with the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, a seed-stage venture capital firm and a senior advisor and facilitator of Entrepreneurship Programs for MaRS Venture Services. He is a member of the Board at Expertfile and an active Angel Investor. Previously, Lance was Executive Chairman at Granite Networks and served as President and CEO of BTI Systems. Before BTI, Lance founded the Canadian subsidiary of HUBER+SUHNER, a Swiss-based wireless and optical component manufacturer.Robert Mueller, CPA, CMA, MBA
Robert is the co-founder of Tulip Retail, a mobile platform built exclusively for retail store associates. Rob is currently advising a number of startup companies and boards and previously has held executive roles within the Technology, Operations, People & Culture and Finance & Accounting functions. He has experience building, restructuring and transforming technology organizations in various stages of their life-cycle. Dave is the CFO at Axonify Inc., a micro-learning platform used by large Fortune 500 companies to ingrain knowledge and behaviours in their employees to achieve their business goals. Dave oversees the Accounting, Finance and Legal functions. He began his career in public accounting and has since gone on to work at several successful technology and innovation firms. Dave specializes in working with early-stage technology companies and helping them grow effectively and efficiently, driving value to become sustainable long-term successes.Katie Sellers, CPA, CA
Katie is the Director of Finance at Mejuri, a fine jewelry direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. She is responsible for the treasury management, financial reporting, FP&A, business strategy and transaction due diligence of the company. Prior to joining Mejuri, Katie worked at Coinsquare as the Director of FP&A and at Ernst & Young, in Toronto and San Francisco, as part of their assurance and transaction advisory groups serving large public technology clients.Bruno Suppa, CPA, CA
Bruno is the Managing Partner for BDO Canada’s Greater Toronto Area Group, responsible for leading a practice of 1000+ people across a variety of business sectors and service offerings. He is heavily involved in the firm’s digital strategy. He has led the firm’s Private Equity group and represented Canada on BDO International’s global M&A and Private Equity Steering Committees.
