New Practice Inspection Portal

As part of our efforts to streamline member and firm obligations and eliminate process redundancies, CPA Ontario has launched a new practice inspection system.

The new system combines several components of the practice inspection process into a single location making it easier for firms to share and access data. Included among the benefits are:

• Streamlined obligations - Several obligations, such as the Practice Profile Questionnaire (PPQ) and exemption declarations, have been merged to eliminate redundancies.
• Accessible results - Final inspection results and decisions will be available in MyPortal.
• Enhanced security - Practising offices will be able to upload files and action plans directly to MyPortal.
• Improved transparency - Practising offices will be able to view their inspection status at any time.

Practising offices selected for inspection during the 2022-23 inspection cycle will receive additional details directly.

Please note that due to these system changes, when Annual Practitioner Dues are launched in July 2022, the PPQ will launch separately in MyPortal.
