2026 CPA Ontario Fellow Nominations
Recognize Excellence by Nominating a CPA
CPAs are known for high ethical standards, strategic insights and their capacity to identify solutions to complex issues in today’s business world. Each year, CPA Ontario seeks to honour select members who exemplify these attributes with the distinction of Fellow.
The distinction of Fellow formally recognizes CPAs who have rendered exceptional service to the profession and in their communities. Our distinguished past Fellows are world-class CPAs that span numerous sectors and industries, demonstrating the breadth and depth of the profession. What makes a Fellow is their impactful contributions to the profession and their community. Their roles vary widely from Partners and CFOs to entrepreneurs, academics, and leaders of international brands.
Nominees
All members of CPA Ontario, including those working outside Ontario, are eligible to be a Fellow. Nominees should be clearly identified as Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) and be known and recognized as CPAs. Additionally, you must be a member of CPA Ontario in good standing for a minimum of one (1) year.
The nominee should review the package and is required to sign off on the nomination. An electronic signature is accepted.
Nominators
Two nominators are required to nominate a candidate, and each must be a member of CPA Ontario (FCPA or CPA). Nominators are also required to include and write letters of support in nomination of the candidate.
To avoid any perceived conflict of interest, CPA Ontario employees and members of CPA Ontario’s Council are not permitted to nominate members or to be nominated to become a Fellow, but they are eligible once they have left the employ of CPA Ontario or have served their term on Council.
