Lilian Cheung, FCPA, FCA

Lilian has a reputation for taking on new challenges with enthusiasm and always works to improve the status quo. According to her nominators, Lilian brings true distinction to the profession. A technical audit expert with a deep commitment to upholding the highest standards of the profession, Lilian has established herself as a seasoned leader and role model for future CPAs.

Lilian has been a leader at Deloitte for over 15 years, devoting her career to helping municipalities, hospitals, school boards, and not-for-profits navigate accounting, internal controls, processes, and governance complexities.

Lilian is most passionate about giving back to the CPA community. She is a member of the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee on the Accounting Standards Board, a member of CPA Ontario Council, a mentor with CPA Canada, and serves as the Deloitte representative for the Public Sector Technical Group.    

She devotes significant time to serving on the Boards and committees of national and local not-for-profit organizations, including Camp Quality Canada, Kennedy House, and Business + Higher Education Roundtable.
