Help Students Discover Their Potential

CPA Ontario's High School Workshops introduce students to the exciting and diverse career opportunities available through the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Led by CPA Ontario's High School Student Recruitment Team, these interactive 30-minute sessions help students learn about business, accounting, entrepreneurship, and the educational pathways that can lead to a rewarding career as a CPA.

Students will explore the CPA designation, learn what CPAs do in a variety of industries, and discover the diverse career opportunities available through the designation. The workshop also introduces CPA Ontario's High School Ambassador Program (HAP), including opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and build their network. Suggested for Grades 10 and 11.

Workshop 2: The CPA PathwayWorkshop 2: The CPA PathwayWorkshop 2: The CPA Pathway

Students will gain a deeper understanding of the CPA designation, explore career opportunities within the profession, and learn about the educational requirements and pathway to becoming a CPA. The session also includes information about CPA Ontario's High School Ambassador Program (HAP). Suggested for Grade 12.

Entrepreneurship Workshop: Basics and FundamentalsEntrepreneurship Workshop: Basics and FundamentalsEntrepreneurship Workshop: Basics and Fundamentals

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including what it means to be an entrepreneur, the skills needed to launch and grow a business, and the wide range of career opportunities available in the world of business. Suggested for Grades 9 and 10.

Entrepreneurship Workshop: Advanced Business & Innovation StrategiesEntrepreneurship Workshop: Advanced Business & Innovation StrategiesEntrepreneurship Workshop: Advanced Business & Innovation Strategies

Students will explore how successful businesses identify opportunities, test ideas, and create value. Through interactive activities, they will learn about business planning, financial feasibility, branding, and marketing. The workshop concludes with a collaborative pitch challenge that helps develop critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. Suggested for Grades 11 and 12.

How to Book a Workshop

  1. Select the workshop that best fits your students' interests and grade level.
  2. Complete the Workshop Booking Request Form .
  3. Choose an available date and time from the booking form.
    • Please note: If you would like to book multiple workshops, a separate booking form must be submitted for each session.
  4. Receive your confirmation email and add the workshop to your calendar.
  5. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent to you closer to the workshop date for you and your students to join.
