DECA logoDECA prepares youth to be ready to face the business world. Join 15,000+ elite business students across Ontario. Take part in competitions and conferences. Connect with an alumni network of corporate professionals and learn about their industries. You can find CPA Ontario at their Provincial Competitions, Leadership Development Academy (LDA), pre-ICDC and other events throughout the year.

UTSC Hack AttackIn collaboration with the University of Toronto Scarborough accounting department, students in grades 11 and 12 can participate in this virtual hackathon. The event includes networking opportunities, workshops by industry professionals and a chance for students to solve real world problems with the case competition. The winning teams even walk away with cash prizes.

Skills OntarioSkills Ontario has the mission of stimulating world class technological and employability skills in Ontario youth. Diversity, equity and representation are top priorities for this organization. They host different events and programming focused on empowering all youth to consider a career in skilled trades and technology.

Illuminate Universe logoIlluminate Universe delivers regional and global high school business and leadership conferences that provide hand-on learning, networking and inspiring speakers. The Illuminate Leadership Academy teaches high school students to be future business leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.

OBEAOBEA has a mission to contribute to the professional growth of business educators and to respond to needs expressed by members. They strive to provide a forum for stimulating ideas through conferences and newsletters, as well as working with the Ontario Ministry of Education to represent business educators at the provincial level.

Leadership in Business logoThe Leadership in Business Conference (LIBC) is for senior high school students who are preparing for the next step in their education. High school students from across Ontario join 150 Wilfrid Laurier University students to compete in a business case study competition and gain business acumen.

Believe InitiativeFounded by Olymbian Sarah Wells, the Believe Initiative hosts various workshops, events and programming that challenge students to think about the question, “what if you believed you could?” The Believe Initiative creates a space for students to think about their future with confidence. They are a channel for students to build resilience, self-belief and leadership skills.

The conference brings together over 1000 students from across Canada to compete for prestigious awards, network and learn from engaging speakers.
