The nationally-developed and provincially-delivered CPA certification program provides students with a strong foundation of ethics, knowledge and skill. Before becoming a member, each student will have completed the academic prerequisites, professional education program and 30 months of relevant practical experience.

The CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) produces the leaders of tomorrow through rigorous academic and professional training. The program consists of a series of core, elective and capstone modules built upon the CPA Competency Map. After completing CPA PEP requirements, you will put your knowledge, skills and experience to the test by completing the comprehensive Common Final Examination (CFE).
The students who successfully complete the program are ready to launch their careers and will have the tools to succeed in any industry. Visit PEP/CFE to learn more.
There is more to becoming a CPA than studying and exams. As part of your program requirements, you will apply the skills and knowledge you are learning on the job.
You will gain hands-on practical experience in your field over a minimum of 30 months through a pre-approved program route or independently with an employer of your choice. During this time, you will work with a CPA mentor who will guide and coach you through your journey.
