CPA Qualifying Courses

CPA Qualifying Courses help you build the entry level knowledge required to enter the CPA Professional Program. If you complete these courses through one of the post-secondary programs listed on this page, you will not be required to take the Knowledge Assessment.

You must complete seven specific courses and eight additional eligible business courses. Eligible business courses are those offered by an institution's business faculty or department and/or courses that count toward the requirements of a business or commerce degree.

Out-of-Province Course Recognition

Courses accepted by another Canadian CPA provincial or regional body for entry to the CPA Professional Program may be recognized by CPA Ontario toward meeting entry requirements. It is your responsibility to confirm that your completed courses satisfy the applicable requirements.
