Chris Boland is Chief Financial Officer of Avivagen, a TSX.V listed entity, and the principal of a public accounting firm, providing IFRS transition services, IFRS training, and consulting on the application of new IFRS Standards. Prior to establishing his public practice and CFO role, Chris was General Manager, Canada Post; CFO, Optiwave; Vice-President, Tax & Treasury, Eftia; Manager, Canadian Bank Note; Manager, Mitel; an Auditor with the Auditor General and Budget Analyst with the Treasury Board.

Roseline Brennan

Roseline Brennan has a distinguished record of service in the arts community and accounting profession. As the controller and co-owner of the Niagara Conservatory of Music, she was instrumental in growing the Conservatory into the second-largest, single-location music school in Ontario, and took a leadership role at the Ontario Music Teachers' Guild, where she served as secretary/treasurer for six years. A Chartered Director, Roseline served at the local and provincial levels of her legacy body for more than two decades.

Georgina Daniels is the Director of Corporate Services at the TBDSSAB, which delivers vital social services to individuals and families living in the District of Thunder Bay. Her 30-year career includes key financial roles in both the private and public sector, and a distinguished record of volunteer service in numerous local charities, causes and the accounting profession, including the CPA Ontario’s Thunder Bay - Northwest Association. She was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 2013.

Ian Jeffreys

Ian Jeffreys is a Partner in Audit and Assurance at KPMG London, where, for more than 20 years, he has provided clients with audit and assurance services. He has significant experience in many industry segments, including not-for-profit, municipal, healthcare and manufacturing. Ian is active in his community as Chair of the Board at Huron University College, a board member at the London Chamber of Commerce and a community member of the Human Resources Committee at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

Jones Russell

Russell (Russ) Jones was the Chief Financial Officer at Shopify from March 2011 to April 2018. Prior to joining Shopify, Russ was based in Silicon Valley where he served both BDNA Corporation from 2009 to 2010 and Xambala Incorporated from 2007 to 2011 as their Chief Financial Officer. Russ has supported many worthy causes in the Ottawa region, including Breast Cancer Awareness, the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County and the Boys & Girls Club. Russ is now spending his time on board and advisory work along with his charitable foundation which is primarily focused on assisting with kidney research.

Bobby Kwon

Bobby Kwon is currently an independent consultant providing advisory services to various organizations. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President at George Weston Ltd. overseeing the Executive Chairman’s Office. Prior to that, Bobby worked at Unilever in Canada, U.S., Netherlands, and U.K. in a number of senior finance and corporate positions, including CFO for the Canadian business and Chief of Staff to Group CEO in London. He serves on the Advisory Board of Rotman-Odgers Berndtson and, in the past, on the Boards of Unilever Canada Inc. and GS1 (Retail Sector). He is a member of Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, volunteers at Regent Park Community Centre, and supports several Korean-Canadian community organizations.

Jennifer Diana Lee

Jennifer Diana Lee is Principal, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. Prior to her role at OTPPB, Jennifer was an Associate for two years at Goldman Sachs in London, UK and began her career at Deloitte Private in Toronto. In addition to being a CPA, Jennifer is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. She has Bachelor of Commerce and Global Professional Masters of Law degrees. In 2016 Jennifer was appointed Young CPA Representative on CPA Ontario’s Council for a two-year term and has also served on the Young CA Advisory Board.

Stephen McCaughey

Steve is a Senior Consulting Partner with Deloitte.  He is Managing Partner of DSpace, Deloitte’s newly created innovation lab based in Kitchener-Waterloo, where Deloitte develops AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Generation, Blockchain, Internet of Things, and Cyber-security prototypes using Lean Discovery methods. His current interests include all things Digital Innovation, Cloud Services platforms and Quantum computing.  He is currently managing teams conducting research on the Future of Work and Future of Learning. A frequent speaker on Digital Finance, Blockchain, and Digital Innovation, Steve holds graduate degrees in Business and in Information Science, holds CFA and CPA designations, and is an accredited Corporate Director.   He sits on the CPA Ontario Council, advocates for the profession, and Chairs the Risk Committee.

She is also Chair of the Learning and Development Committee for the Audit and Assurance Group, National Audit and Assurance Leader for the firm’s “Women in Leadership” initiative, and a member of the Canadian Audit and Assurance Leadership Group.

Daniela served as Partner, Assurance Services, for five years, and her career has included leadership on complex and multifaceted client assignments across digital and innovation as well as power and utilities mandates. Daniela has also been the people leader of Toronto’s audit group at EY, and has spent extensive time recruiting candidates, and seeing them evolve throughout their careers. As Assurance Digital & Innovation Leader, her team is at the forefront of developing and testing new, next-generation audit tools which we believe will shape the industry in the years to come. This includes a lab run internally at EY to spur innovation and agile ways of servicing our clients.

Paulina is the Senior Vice President, Controller and Risk Management at Rogers Communications. Paulina has over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry holding progressive Financial Controller and Business Support roles. An excellent leader and an outstanding CPA professional who supports career progression and education, she established and leads the CPA Training Office program and other internal Finance learning for Rogers Communications. Currently Paulina leads a group of 200 with responsibilities for all reporting, accounting, internal controls, revenue assurance, financial operations, risk management and systems such as ERP and Business Intelligence data analytics.

Prior to that, he was the Founding Director of Studio [Y] at MaRS, Canada’s largest innovation hub and the co-founder of CatalystsX, an incubator for young change makers. He is a member of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, a recipient of the University of Waterloo’s Alumni Achievement Award and a Canada Millennium Scholar.
