CPA ONTARIO ANNOUNCES 2019 EMERGING LEADER AWARD RECIPIENTS
TORONTO, ON - November 15, 2019 – Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) is proud to announce its 2019 Emerging Leader Award recipients. Now in its second year, this peer-nominated award recognizes the outstanding contributions of Ontario’s young CPAs, aged 34 and under.
This year's Emerging Leaders are distinguished by their breadth of experience, including their social and philanthropic contributions, and governance and entrepreneurial initiatives. Esteemed for their financial expertise, strategic thinking, management skills and leadership, this year’s recipients unanimously believe that the CPA designation has prepared them for a dynamic future.
“When we recognize those who go above and beyond, both personally and professionally, we reaffirm the values that underpin the designation’s limitless possibilities,” said Craig Smith, Executive Vice-President of Member and Student Services, CPA Ontario. “These tremendous individuals join a vibrant and diverse group of peers who are leaders in their fields and within their respective communities.”
Seven award recipients were honoured last night at a reception co-hosted by CPA Ontario and Luminari, where they each received a congratulatory package.
