5 Benefits of Experiential Learning no Book Can Beat

We learn best by doing. That’s why our CPA students get 30 months of practical experience to apply what they learn, as they learn it. Otherwise known as experiential learning, this approach to developing skillsets doesn’t just focus on hard skills – it encourages growth of the ever-elusive soft skills on any employer’s wish list: communication, organization, self-reflection, and self-initiative.
Experiential learning can take many forms (internships, practicums, case study research, volunteering), and it helps equip you with skills for the real world.

Want to learn more about the Practical Experience requirements of our program?

Join us on April 30 at 12 noon for an exclusive webinar:

  • Learn about different pathways of meeting the requirements
  • How long it takes, what you need to do, and when
  • The soft skills you’ll develop throughout (a.k.a competency areas)
  • Logging your progress
  • Mentorship

You can post questions in the chat throughout the webinar and we will also have a Q&A segment at the end
