2018 Tax Preparation Assistance

Tax Preparation Assistance

CPA Ontario is celebrating 50 years of providing tax assistance to Ontario communities.

The Tax Preparation Assistance (TPA) program is an opportunity to pay forward your expertise and give back to your community. By preparing tax returns free of charge, CPAs can help eligible individuals take advantage of the tax benefits and credits available to them.

Volunteer Registration

CPA Ontario has unified its registration process with the CRA's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

New and returning CPA volunteers are encouraged to register online. A step-by-step registration guide is available to assist you. This new process will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Once you’ve been approved by the CRA, a representative from CPA Ontario will email you within 10 business days to discuss next steps.
