TCP is an opportunity for Ontario high school business and accounting teachers to stay connected with CPA Ontario throughout the school year! Teacher Colleagues enjoy classroom presentations,  access to exclusive resources and educational events for their students.

Support for Students

CPA Ontario is pleased to offer support for high school students through our High School Ambassador Program (HAP). Ambassadors enjoy access to competitions, events and resources to help guide them to achieving their academic and career goals. Student Competitions

CPA Ontario is pleased to offer students with opportunities to foster creativity and learning through student competitions. To be eligible to participate in our competitions, students must be members of the High School Ambassador Program (HAP).


CPA InstaChallenge

CPA Instachallenge is a monthly social media competition that fosters creativity and engagement.

Invite your students to take part in the CPA InstaChallenge by uploading a picture on your Instagram account based on a monthly hashtag.

July Instagram Challenge

    The July theme is “Dream Destination”

    CPAs work around the globe. If you could work anywhere in the world, where would it be?

    • When – July 13, 2018 – July 31, 2018
    • Who – You must be a High School Ambassador
    • Where – Tag the @gocpaontario Instagram account with the #CPAInstaChallenge within the given time
    • Award - $50 Visa Gift Card

    Write to Ignite Essay Competition

    Write to Ignite is an annual essay competition for graduating high school students with an interest in studying business at the post secondary level. Students can win up to $500 in cash bursaries towards their post secondary education.

    This year’s theme for Write to Ignite is “How would the CPA designation help you achieve success in the world of business?” The essay must be a maximum of 300 words.

    Submissions are due by May 14, 2018. Students can email their submissions to getinvolved@cpaontario.ca.


    CPA Showcase

    CPA Showcase is a video competition designed for High School Ambassadors to demonstrate their talent by creating a short video based on a theme provided by CPA Ontario. Congratulations to the 2018 winners!

    What was this year’s ShowCase theme? As a future CPA, how will you impact the world of business and your community?

    Students upload their videos to YouTube to earn “Likes” and “Views”. Three finalists will be selected from all submissions to compete for the top prizes:

    1st Place: CDN $1,000 plus $500 for the winner’s high school business department
    2nd Place: CDN $300
    3rd Place: CDN $200

    No Limits

    CPA Ontario is proud to support students and inspire them to exceed their goals. The No Limits conference provides senior high school students with the opportunity to expand their horizons by mixing and mingling with some of Ontario’s brightest business minds, the who’s who of the CPA world. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make contacts and discover where the CPA designation can take them.

    To attend, students must be registered in the High School Ambassador Program (HAP) and be nominated by their teacher, who must be registered in the Teacher Colleague Program (TCP). Schools may submit the names of up to twelve students in total. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.

    Registration is now open for No Limits Toronto.
