Prerequisite Education 

Program Update 

Effective August 1, 2016, the admission criteria for the preparatory courses (formerly CPA Prerequisite Education Program or CPA PREP) has changed. The entry requirements for the preparatory courses are one of the following: 

  • 30 credit hours of post-secondary education (equivalent to one year of full time study), or
  • three years relevant work experience.

Note: A 120 credit hour degree is still required for entry in to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).
