CPA Ontario Committee Volunteer Opportunities

CPA Ontario offers senior members several ways to serve the profession and the public as members of CPA Ontario Committees. If you are a member in good standing with CPA Ontario and have 10 or more years of experience as a designated accountant and would like to help uphold the public’s trust in the profession, give back to the profession and earn CPD credits, consider volunteering on the following committees:

Professional Conduct Committee - Members of the Professional Conduct Committee review and investigate complaints against members and determine whether to lay charges of professional misconduct for prosecution before the Discipline Committee.

Practice Inspection Committee - The Practice Inspection Committee assesses the compliance with professional standards of all full- and part-time practising offices as they relate to the performance of assurance, compilation and other specified engagements covered in the CPA Canada Handbook – Assurance, and takes appropriate follow-up or remedial action in instances of non-compliance.
