The following FAQ provides information on the login process. All secured pages will prompt you for login. Once logged in, you will have access to all content applicable to your membership.
1. Why isn’t my CPA Ontario ID or password being recognized?
Please verify that you have entered your CPA Ontario ID and password correctly and note that the password is case sensitive. To have your CPA Ontario ID emailed to you, please click on the “Forgot CPA Ontario ID” link. To reset your password, please click on the “Reset Password” link. Please be advised that if the CPA Ontario ID you have entered is correct, after three unsuccessful login attempts, the system will lock you out and you will need to contact our Customer Service Centre at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1 844.557.(CPAO) 2726 during regular business hours Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. to have your access restored.
2. How can I change my password?
If you do not remember your password, clicking on the “Reset Password” link will guide you through the password reset process.
3. What is a CPA Ontario ID?
Your CPA Ontario ID is your unique numerical identifier as provided to you by CPA Ontario.
4. I’ve forgotten my CPA Ontario ID. Can you please confirm it for me?
If you have forgotten your CPA Ontario ID, clicking on the “Forgot CPA Ontario ID” link will guide you through the CPA Ontario ID confirmation process.
5. Do I have to select security questions? Can’t I just leave that part blank?
Selecting your security questions is an important step in ensuring the safety and security of the information you have on file with us. You are welcome to change the questions and answers at any time, but we do require that three questions be chosen and corresponding answers are provided.
